State of the Game

If you're not the audience, then you're the cast. And if you're the cast, you have to wonder:

Who's the audience?

Think about that.

(I have a very good therapist, if you're looking for referrals).
Interestingly there's quite a powerful counselling technique around what you said. Shan't bore with the details, but it can work very well. (It can also have no effect whatsoever).

Now that is some SERIOUS name dropping there!

Also, I'm positively green with envy. And I'm being very uncharacteristically serious here.
thankees! met at a signing at Forbidden Planet and have been friends ever since (coincidentally became friends with his current wife, Amanda Palmer, before they had even met, and both of them own art from me, again before they knew each other, but yeah being part of the science fiction and fantasy fandom and being someone of rather unique dress sense has helped over the years

If you're comfortable, and I completely understand if not, I'd love to see one of your pieces.

(not necesarily here, happy to PM)

One of the sure fire ways of never meeting interesting people is to never be interesting yourself, so being interesting is not a Bad Thingâ„¢! :)

(Of course, some might argue that I'm a bit too interesting at times, but that's just because they're boring ;) )

Seriously, though: "Normal" is vastly overrated.
