State of the Game

The stone stuff that survives is about that old. but who knows what has been lost that was made of wood. people travelled all over north america as much as twice as old as that. We like to build our villages and such close to the sea, and the sea level has risen since the last ice age. Our oldest evidence shows refined tools and/or practices ...they didn't just get that way from nothing.
you likely mean the clovis people who are likely to have come to the americas from what is today's france - comparing spear tips, those are quite alike to those in europe. Clovis people were quite wide-spread in the north america's southern parts, but they ended their exitance most likely at the end of the ice age, when ice returned a second time in northern america - well, that was a difficult time anyway, all that melting water led to massive flooding and flash flooding - somewhere there the clovis people found their end.

there's also decent evidence of sea faring travels ...that wouldn't just spontaneously exist.. it would take time to develop. but we have no evidence of where this development took place (no settlements). but given how humans build next to the ocean...and the sea levels being what they are.. it stands to reason that evidence of the first civilizations of mankind would be under the water currently. Not to be found further inland. Those would be later civilizations.

Was that a refined age? Before or after lightsabers?

yeah that is quite likely - in my mind we are missing a big chunk of history still - there are much too many unresolved issues.

still dont get why we got sequals to luke and all... for star wars and not a Knights of the Old Republic set of movies. The beginnings of the modern sith. maybe throw in some mandalorian action from their jedi / force user fighting days. cool stuff...and less regurgitating the same story of light side / dark side skywalker crap.

As soon as that happens we can go back and make sure another life doesn't get commissioned for a first season.
the fact that we know it did, means that either time travel doesn't work, or that it creates alternate realities...in which you can never use time travel to fix your own timeline / reality. Only create new ones that you'd have to insert yourself in ...if possible.

I find myself in agreement with you.

I'd like to apologise to my friends and family and I'm now going on a journey of learning and healing.

time travel - people just think of time paradox issues - but the real problem with time travel is, that at a different time are quite different strains of bacteria for which we would have no immunity whatsoever, we would die just like the natives in many countries had died once they got colonized. This is the real problem with time travel - it is a medical problem.

that and time travel requires spatial travel as well. The earth and solar system and galaxy are moving and traveling back in time even a little bit would put you in empty space or the center of the planet, etc.

So is space travel...
