State of the Game

it sounds like the idea is going to more firmly root both aliens and blade runner in the same universe - albeit at different time periods and with probably little cross-over other than the world building.

2049 was far better than I dared hope, I actually thought it was a pretty great movie.
It bored me and I spent most of the film screaming (in my head) 'DO SOMETHING... ANYTHING... PLEEEEEASE... JUST GET ON WITH IT...'

The mate I saw it with lurved it, so....

<whatever>

Hmm. Will it be original Alien-y, or Prometheus Alien-y, I wonder?
Prometheus is an odd film for me, in 2D I find it okay to borderline dull, yet in 3D I find it much better. Which seems odd because there are no overt 3D scenes in it.

Not unlike 'Dredd' (2012) - it's decent in 2D, better in 3D.

In fairness to 3D, nothing could have saved Alita: Battle Angel (for me), and I'm faintly amazed that the second half of the film has been given the green-light. I won't be watching it.

I'm still waiting for the final Star Wars movie of the last three we were supposed to get. Everyone I know seem to have seen something they think is it, but that just can't be right.

:D S

I have the Razorback kit from The Mandalorian still sitting sealed from last year's chrimbo. And the Big Bang Theory set unopened as well from the year before that. My daughter would lose her absolute mind anytime I try building stuff without her, although she's almost seven now so can be "trusted to help".

(My favourite bit tho is my Lego Stephen Hawking)
Groovy. Lego remains cool.
