Throw it down the stairs to see how the damage modeling works.

Looking forward to the Expanse ep5 reviews :) My take - I liked it, but they're really running out of time to wrap things up though.

Filip rating : less annoying than usual (y)

... but that Naomi / Drummer scene wasn't great. The idea that Drummer is always motivated to save / follow Naomi - not sure it is needed, though it did show what Drummer has lost in confronting Marco very well.

I do wonder - if they ever do the later books - if they will switch to make Drummer the leader of the resistance, as she makes far more sense than the person/people who do it in the books.

I think this was the episode where he finally realised exactly what his father is.

Drummer has always played the part of the tortured soul/belter very well but yet the scene between here and Naomi was pretty meh.

I'm not sure the meeting of minds on the Ceres Docks came off well either with Drummer basically going along with the plan with next to no assurances from Avasarala beyond her word.

Nice call back though to the Belter torture scene in episode 1. Rubber was right about that and I was right about the Martian fleet going boom.

They would I imagine, because it simplifies a lot of things.

Yeah, I was hoping Lego Hair would turn up and it would be less of a one-on-one face-off. "We help you now, but there is a price". Still thought it was a great scene, forcing Avasarala out of her safe space, though Drummer seemed too alone - she's supposed to be in charge of a fleet!

Interesting to see what they do next week as in the book it is Marco chasing them to the ring, and here it looks like it will be the Roci chasing Marco.

The first thing I'll be checking on Friday at 12 am is how long it is because they've left a hell of a lot of things to resolve. I'm hoping for close to 2 hours but I know that it's very unlikely.

They've said it's longer, but normal episodes are < 45, so I doubt it will even go to 90 ... would be nice though as they haven't even got a plan yet (but it was shown in the series trailer...)

Like I said yesterday, the last episode is the one where the writers wake up and really move things on. S5 was like this with an epic last episode, but with 6, its going to be awkward.

Saw another interview with Ty Frank (Expanse writer) yesterday and he was again pretty clear that they see this as the end of the tv show - "If we can end with one loose end then that will be better than most shows". Dunno Ty - that is one MASSIVE loose end you're leaving ...

And I really want to see Bobbie go fight a space ship :(

Does lego-hair-man's hair jump off and back on his head like it does to the Lego man from the film?

Ah, who am I kidding, I can go watch it happen soon for myself.
