Stations outside the bubble.

I'm currently around 15K light years from the bubble. I'm slowly making my way to the middle of the Galaxy. I've heard players mention that there are a few space ports way out of the bubble. I have logged many systems and if I could make my way to one of these remote bases to sell my data that would be great. Could someone please give me the names of these systems or provide a link to a webpage that has this information? Also, do you get the same payoff for your data that you would if you sold it in the bubble? Thanks:)

good advice has been given .this is when owning a fc comes in handy take youre own station with you.but they are expensive and not all have them.good luck on youre journey cmdr 07

Don't forget to take some cargo with you. The poor NPC pirates fly all the way to the centre in their 12 LY jump range combat Adders and Cobras only to find that there's no cargo to rob. It's a long way back to go empty-handed. A small donation of some biowaste or micro-weave cooling hoses will help them a lot.

Be aware that the stations you'll find out in the black, like Explorer's Anchorage, are rather limited. You can fill up the gas, and in theory have a cup of coffee, but that's about it. It is nice to have solid ground under your feet though, after floating around in space for some time. Kind of like that gas station with the sharp neon lights you enter after driving for hours and hours in the wilderness. It takes the top off the deep space madness 🤪

Set your galaxy map to show carriers or civilization That will show you the closest port though most seem to be orbital docks so won't be much use if you have a large ship.

Hello again. I'm closing in on Explorers Anchorage. My ship carries no cargo and has no weapons. I do have shields though. Typically when an NPC pirate tries to pull me out of hyperdrive I can usually escape. Do pirates roam in these areas? I would hate to get blown away when I have some data accumulated from my travels.

...Do pirates roam in these areas?...

Yes but you generally don't have to worry about NPC pirates unless you're carrying something or have open missions. They'll still try to pull you, but if they win they'll see you're not carrying anything when they scan you and then move on to other targets. If you have an open mission and they were sent after you then they'll start blasting you regardless of what's in your hold.

Players are a wildcard. Some will ignore you, some will interdict you, some will just say hi. However being on the PS4 you're not likely to run into anybody there. I think I only seen one other player out there during the three trips I had made in that direction.

If you're approaching a station/settlement with masses of exploration data, I'd suggest switching to "solo" mode - same as approaching Deciat - just in cae there's the odd griefer around.
Losing some 20 000 ly of exploration data isn't fun!

most of the stations I've found are mining stations on planets. These are limited in resources!

When you fly all the way to the centre, you don't see a single ship, but when you arrive there, there are plenty of patrolling pirates waiting to blow up your ship if you hold any cargo. How they get there in their combat Adders and Cobras with 12 LY jump range is an absolute mystery because they've been going there since before we had fleet carriers.
