steam: cannot refund due to playtime

I attempted a refund, but this was not forthcoming as I apparently have over 930 hours of time in Odyssey. It is counting all my time in Elite Dangerous - I attempted to explain this to steam support, but it has been rejected twice now.

I have the same problem. I pre-ordered this as I thought I could trust Frontier but Odyssey is unplayable in its present form.

Spot on- guess I let my guard down thinking I could trust Frontier.

Same problem. Weird since that isn't an issue with other games' DLC's.

Place a Ticket in to the frontier support, i did and got a refund within 24 hours, no harm in trying

Same here. Apparently the time trying to get the launcher to update from Horizons to Odyssey and then trying to access the game with no server access on launch day counts as play time.
