SteamVR not working

I'm hoping someone can help me out. I upgraded the DK2 to 0.8 runtime but had a lot of issues with various games. Stuttering was a major issue. I decided to go back to 0.5 which certainly wasn't very straight forward. I finally managed to get it working but now steamVR will not even pick up the DK2 HMD. I have it in extended mode. Previously on 0.8 (direct mode only) the DK2 was picked up by SteamVR.

Any help appreciated.

Are you trying to play ED?

If you're using 0.5 or in deed 0.6 you don't need SteamVR. Support is in ED for extended mode. Just set it to HMD in the graphics options.

For SteamVR have you checked if it's supported on that version of the SDK? I'm not sure it will be anymore.

I was trying to play dirt rally actually. I can play ED without an issue with 0.5

I'll check this out. Is already on Beta. I think maybe it's the 0.5 driver that doesn't work with the least steamVR anymore.
