Are you a federal citizen or independent that is tired of the politics among the Congress and other major political factions?



The Steel Wolves Aegis Tactical had been working for the last two years establishing its sphere of influencet on the fringes of the bubble. Bringing the federal ideals and freedoms to the region without the politics that don't care about the little guy. Our corporation is looking for pilots who are not only looking for a home, but a purpose.

Who We are

Steel Wolves Aegis Tactical is a BGS focused federal squadron. Our beginnings were on Xbox, but with the separation of Xbox and PC in update 14 we have reformed on PC. We are a close knit group of friends, but are welcoming to new and veteran players. Our hopes are to have a well established federal bubble outside of the powerplay sphere of influence. These hopes are to also populate that space with other federal or independent squadrons that support our minor faction as a community.

*What do We Do

  • Activities focus on our federal faction’s BGS (we have our own guide for those new to the background simulator)
  • Bounty Hunting
  • Commodity Market Trade
  • Mission Running
  • Conflict Zones (being a corporate faction we are almost constantly in a war state)
  • Anti-Xeno Operations
  • Our space surrounds the bottom half of the Taranis Maelstrom so we get Alert and Invasion States
  • Security Services
  • While PvP isn’t a core thing, we do have members who will fly security services within and without our space when called upon.
  • Mining
  • Exploration
  • New Pilot training

Benefits of Joining Us

  • We are an active group based in North America.
  • Welcoming to new pilots and will teach them the intricacies of the game
  • Credits. While not only teaching how to make credits, a lot of us hold on to wing missions to turn in with a full wing. Also we have systems that provide 30-50 million credit missions due to expansions.
  • Community in both Elite Dangerous and other Games.
  • Building of a rich lore

Well Taranis is now applying pressure to us as well as our BLoP neighbors, but that hasn't stopped us from bringing (2) more systems under federal control and the Steel Wolves banner.

Anti Xeno Initiative signs a commercial agreement with Steel Wolves Aegis Tactical

Since the arrival of the Taranis Maelstrom, the citizens and employees of the Steel Wolves Aegis Tactical corporation have been hard pressed in defending the region of space they reside in. The corporation’s various holdings have been working around the clock from its paramilitary force fighting on the front lines to the shipyards repairing and retrofitting independent ships. The Steel Wolves have also been shelling out enormous amounts of credits to bring in much needed supplies as well as transportation services for evacuations.

In a press release from the Steel Wolves headquarters at Webb Port, Director Samuel Gilmore announced that the formidable anti xeno group, Anti Xeno Initiative (AXI), will be moving their megaship, the Indra, into the Steel Wolves capital system of HIP 27986 to be able to provide more logistical support for the systems affected by the Taranis maelstrom. Also, AXI has brokered a deal with the Steel Wolves Aegis Tactical where the corporation will provide manufacturing capabilities and shipyards to assist the AXI fleets in their operations within the region.

The announcement of this commercial agreement has done wonders for both the Steel Wolves’ approval rating and morale within the region. The Lupine Gazette was able to reach CEO Ferox Worgen for a quick comment before he left in the STLW Blood Wolf for another patrol of Wolves Space:

“We welcome the members of the Anti Xeno Initiative and look forward to a profitable venture with them. Their assistance in kicking the bugs out of Wolves Space will be greatly appreciated and the precision of our federal maintenance and engineering teams should keep their fleet at peak performance.”

Just want to say, you guys are probably my favorite bgs faction. Because you seem to be trying to fit into the lore about as well as anyone. Honestly, when the first maelstrom arrived, and I saw your NPCs running around, I thought it was an fdev addition, new Aegis tactical wings that would fight on the front lines. I was sad to learn that wasn't the case, but it's still cool that it fits in so smoothly.

Honestly, I'd love to see more factions like yourselves spring up. Flying Tigers Aegis Tactical, Green Knights Aegis Tactical, that sort of thing.

In any case, keep up the good work. I threw in a few kills this week for you.

Shout out to the AX community (AXI, Op IDA, PDES, HIVE, etc) for helping us defend our space from the Taranis. We've come pretty adept at the mechanics, but definitely would of lost more systems without the manpower assistance.

Who We are
Steel Wolves Aegis Tactical is a BGS focused federal squadron with the intent of growing our minor faction into one of the largest Federal factions and bringing systems under Federation government and Archer PP influence. We are also planning on orienting the focus to colonization once released.

- We are accepting both new or veteran pilots.

- We are also a NA based squadron.
