That is ok.we will start @ 20:00 Ingame time 2mrrw.
On Xbox side not sure as noone volunteered to organise it(take the role as funeral ship and escorts)
PS4 side however there will be a nice Crew who took the role so special thanks for Cmnd RevCaoticFox and his crew.
On other side who has no permit to Sol and 3.0.3 get a new bug prevent permit/invites/rank missions u can join at any point especially @ Waypoints as Funeral ships and escorts will wait there for each other(Dont try any nasty things Grifers we wont be unarmed newbies)

So, to confirm... This is all happening in the Fleetcomm private group? Or Open (I don't mind either)?
Will any ship do, or are you short on any? I'll probably bring my AspX unless you need me to bring the Cutter or any other ship for some reason.

No fleetcomm is a Voice channel for communication for wingleaders and funeral ships between PC and PS4 and Xbox if there will be any crew there.(Obviusly a wrong choise of name)
The Event will happening in OPEN PLAY.Got crew on both(ps4 and Pc) so we will be good whit that.
Anyone can come along whit us for tribute Mr.Hawkings.
Hopefully wont be any (Harry Potter and his friends activity) but cant guarantee that.
Anyone can bring any ship along whit us.
There is no dresscode either for ship paint jobs but keep in mind that is a Funeral Run.

It is for wing leaders and Funeral ships only but we will communicate whit the rest of commanders via in game chat in Local.However i sent u a PM as we got one free slots on PC.
If I can get my ship launched in time I will be there... If I can't make the start point I will Honk-Jump to Hawking's Reach for 21:30 IGT.
Has anyone worked out a rough time schedule for the waypoints, in case I can find you all en route?
Also... Min recommended jump range suggestions? (Got to decide which ship to kit out)

We planning to be at Hawkings reach by 22:00 IN GAME time.The route is fine by 22 ly jump range but get a fuel scoop.we tested the route by courier/Clipper and Cutter too.We will be in SC.As the system has no landable planet the wings gonna left wakes what u need to jump in after to Normal Space b4 we left the ship drift forever there.Also i mail frontier Support for the next patch get a beacon there whit a Short history of his life and his work.
hi as Far as i know no camera crew been contacted me but if you wish so im more than happy about it.

If u coming all the way down to Hawkings reach there wont be any land able planet so we will meet in space before we left the ship drift in the void forever.Meeting will work as one or two of the wing mates gonna jump after the funeral ship so everyone can lock on the Wake they will left so it will lead to the Funeral ships.If u not seen any no worries they will go again in SC and will jump back so left signal again.

A Fleetcomm channel has been created for Wing Commanders on EliteDangerous.hu's discord server. AFAIK you are a member of this server so you can use it if you wish.

Do you mean Graphite from the Tactical set? Granite might be kind of cool though, now that you mention it, like trendy American countertops.

Well, I've met a total of two other commanders so far! Decided to get my Asp over (my Chieftain will be painful over that distance) and am then heading straight for WP3.
I've just parked up at the Orion Visitor Centre (1 jump away in my AspX). I did pass through Hawking's Reach on my way, but no-one there. Will head over there for 10pm.
There are only three suns, quite close together, and nothing else of interest in the system. So it shouldn't be hard to find each other.

I brought along my lasers, as I always do in this build, but not a chance for the PVP meta for anything but maybe running away. I'll be in Open when I make it there. Hopefully the salt miners will respect the occasion accordingly. The drama gets a little old, and I would hope respecting Steve goes beyond that. We shall see.
