Still no Elite Dangerous in Asia Playstation Store..So Frustrated..

Why is it there still no Elite Dangerous listed in asia store? I am getting so frustrated about this..been waiting for many years to play this game..and now I thought I finally can play. Sadly no..no preorder button no store listing..its 27th June already..been refreshing my playstation store many many time today..felt like a crazy stalker (which I am not)...The game will be release worldwide right? asia is include in that worldwide release right?

It's the same deal with XBox here in Japan. At least XBox has a work-around which is to switch to the U.S. store front which then allowed me to purchase it. Why ED is not available in Japan is beyond me. What country are you living in?

I live in Malaysia and with my xbox pretended to be in UK to get it. Starnge Sony done this. I might get a PS Pro for fun and thought i might play ED on it as an explorer. My xbox one started as trader and explorer but my FDL got blood lust problem if you explore second account is highly recommended as can get boring in big doses

I wish I have an xbox..was feeling happy when i heard the news that the game will be ported to console before this have to go to my brother house to play elite on his pc...and I dont mind the game got time exclusive on xbox. my greatest fear is the game will be release late over here in asia or will not see any release date at all..assuming the fan base is maybe bigger in Europe and America..because I did emailed Frontier asking about asia release, they themselves don't have answer if the game will be out on asia store.

I'm giving it one more day..worse come to worse I might have to make any US or UK account to buy the game..but not sure if I bought the game using US or UK account I still can play online on my asia account..don't want to pay double for my asia or any US or UK PS+..

So if we bought the game from US store we still can used our PS+ on asia account without problem..good to know about this..I thought that we cannot used our asia PS+ account and have to purchase another PS+ for the US account..

But I still prefer is they release Elite on asia region so it would make much easier for us to download future DLC or Season Pass...

I don't think Frontier have a localised version of Elite for any asian countries atm.

From forum sections I can see Russian, Polish Spanish, Portugese, French, German and obviously English.

I would hope they do work on that.

I don't care if it's localised to Japan or not (although it wouldn't matter if it was.)

The issue is simple: why is the game not available in Asia? FD will happily take my money for the PC version in Asia. Three times. What is the issue with the PS4 version in Asia? Why has there been no official comment on this?

I can agree on this, most of all the game that I played here are in English anyway. Hope there's no problem between FD and PlayStation 4 Asia store. Not sure about releasing process for digital game on PlayStation store do they have difference rule and regulation between region? and what "the100thmonkey" said, there's no official comment from FD about this. Hope they take notice on this and can address about it.

It's just that I felt cheated, because from what i know they said that the game gonna be worldwide release for digital and physical on 27th June and yet no shop here can provide the physical release and in the digital store no digital release..

I do not know of any plans for an Asian release at this time, I hope that one day we can but for not you may wish to try a VPN but we cannot recommend any specifically.

well as far as i know if you buy the physical copy either from US or UK the game will still work on your asia account, but you need the specific account either US or UK to download any free or purchase DLC or Season Pass, so you need to register another PSN ID just for the donwload...and there where the problem come in, if you want to purchase any paid DLC or Season Pass Pay Pal or credit card wont work if it's not from that specific country i think. Need to purchase PlayStation Card for specific country aswell.

Hi i have Pre ordered the game on the 5th June and now have to wait till the 5th July for my disk copy coming from Amazon UK. The kicker is that i live in the Canary Islands! Go figure we are part of Europe and i have to wait about a week after release to get hold of it. You would have thought they would have given out the copies before hand so as to allow people to play on day of release!

It works as long as you set your US acct as primary acct for your ps4. That way you can use any digital game bought from your R1 with asia acct. Been playing using MY PSN this morning for 4 hours untill got a call from my boss to come back to office early -_-

Good to know about this. So you manage to buy the game on the US store, how did you purchased the game? do you used credit card or US Playstation Network Card. Tried to tie my paypal to my US account but failed. Always getting username or password error..

Im using the prepaid card bought from on of the seller at lowyat.net forum. Sometimes they sell it much more cheaper and get the code much quicker. The paypal for us store will check wheter the acct is from US or not first. If it not from US, it will give error code and you cant link it to us acct. Some sort of countermeasure i think

Ahh..I see..so that's why I cannot log into my paypal account. Can you give me the link to the seller that sell the prepaid card? thinking of getting Elite next month, already used the money that I save to buy Elite with other games out of frustration..hahahaha.

I buy ED with PSN US and play with my primary PSN as Z3 Asia but can't buy frontier point with psn asia it very sorry if buy with psn us FP not transfer to other account.

Why frontier not open buy FP or item extra with web page for ps4 or link psn account with web page Frontier store.
