Yeah I've been trying all day, no dice. I've officially written this CG off and will try again next week, purely because I wasn't having fun. I made nearly 2m cr scanning stuff out of boredom on my way there and back, so that's good enough until the next CG. Hopefully the next one won't be broken.

All new stations have none for a while until activity, the economy picks up.
I suppose you don't need it, but I was only going for the BH goal and haven't had a single RES spawn all day. I've tried the usuals, jumping out and back in to the system, logging out and back in, nothing worked. Checked every ringed planet, circled all the way around each one, nothing.
Did you shut down your Xbox from the settings menu, which also clears the cache? This worked for me every time, and was the only thing that did. (Doesn't fix the missions board, just the RES issue. In Solo only
)

If you want to know the CG status look at your transactions tab. As willi said, it's common for new stations (especially remote ones) to take a while to finish. I still remember when Alcazar's Hope had no working landing pads (it's all about teh immershuns)
(it's all about teh immershuns)Merope system is next door, has the same dominant minor faction, and some RESes, low RESes and high RESes and HazRESes. Just surface scan the planets. Works all the same, BH in Merope and come back to Blackmount Orbital to redeem the vouchers. No need for the Mission menu.

So, the general consensus is that because it's a new station, there are no missions. Fair enough. But I get a message telling me the server cannot be reached.

That's how I remember other new sites - not a great user experience I agree, and caught me out (again!) today when I thoughy the game must be b0rked. But it's just mission boards in that system AFAIK
Nearly all of the missions at Blackmount Orbital are 200 ly cargo runs (so you're not missing much) but there are a TON of passenger missions. I loaded up a T7 with 6E cabins on the Blackmount base and packed them in for runs to Merope.
Right after the lockdown ended, the mission board opened up fine and there were a few missions available. Since the weekend the board fails to load with a connection error. So those claims of it being a new station as reason for no available missions sound bogus to me.
If this connection issue remains, how are we supposed to claim our CG rewards?

Not bogus, just not addressing the issue you are discussing.
The connection issue does seem to be connected to this CG station, FD tend to be good at fixing these things but they can take more time than wished for.
As for rewards, you will get paid automatically 2 weeks after the end date of the CG if you haven't claimed the reward at the station before then.

Is this only PS4 related ? Because I get access to the Missionboard and as I'm cordial with the faction since some CG on a supply depot outpost a few systems further out, I'm offered between 10 and 18 (iIrc, never seen that much from one faction though) Missions.
Edit: just read about the server connection issues, which I had, too. At least yesterday. Logged out completely from the servers ( back to the launcher (PC)) and after that it was fine again.

Not just PS4, seeing the issue on PC. You an see these issues on new stations, but if people are getting missions then it's maybe FD being overloaded because of CG. In either case it should get better soon™
