I recentlly acquired my first Hanger and pair of SLFs of two different types. If I stored the hangar in storage would the ships types I have inside disappear? Given that you can only get each type of fighter in its respective power area, will I have to reacquire my fighters from the respective zones or will they still be in my stored Hangar?

Stored hangars will retain the SLFs you had in them. However, any livery will need to be reapplied and any custom module priorities and firegroups on the SLFs will need to be reset next time you install the module.
There is also no way to see which hangar (of the same class and rating) is which so it can take a few swaps to get the SLFs you want.
