Strange shimmering out in the deep, anyone else seen it?

Whilst I was waiting out where Salome started her journey and while I was trying to get into her instance, I saw a strange shimmering effect across the stars. I thought I was going to get interdicted although I was 1000ls out and no one was near. It lasted about 5 seconds. Then it happened again.

Another commander saw it and messaged but no one else replied. Has anyone else seen this?

I was in a multicrewed Anaconda and we saw it a couple of times. My best guess is that it's an interdiction seen from afar.

I think they recently made it so that you can see the interdiction animation when someone else is targeted. That might have been what it was.

Yes, I had it today right after the event in Teorge headed to the 1st listening post. I grabbed a video; I can post it later. I went back to where I encountered it and nothing happened again.

Was it the stars like in the effect of bholes, type shimmering, denoting Interdictions, or the spiral traces in fog type unknown effect we have been witnessing?

It reminded me of the Thargoid interdiction. Hyperdiction. I can believe it was someone else being interdicted but there was no sign of it on radar
