i'd say they key factors here are audience size and diversity, and na is far more niche than ed. that said, to be fair there's quite a bit of senseless ganking going on there too, it just doesn't spill as much to the forums.

You're right in what your saying, and of course NA has ganking going on (much like any game with PvP elements) however its the last thing you mention that is where my concerns with vocal elements of this communities reaction to death in a computer game.

We started executing Fuel Rats a while back and putting vids up.. The reaction was hysterical and rather bitter. Why, why would anyone do that? Such a senseless crime [haha]

The general attempt at psycho babble we've seen is amusing. Some people it seems just can't distinguish between real life and an imaginary game world. If only people were so outraged by crimes and other injustices in the real world..

I think we need someone who has studied nuts intensively for a long time, and if possible has a in cognitive nutsackology.

....but reading this thread...I dunno..It seems kind of tempting.

I completely agree Now is it done on the forums or in game ? The C&P on the the forums is a tough one, you have to be convoluted to get your insults across, in game its more easy, no real deterrent..
