Hi Sherry,

I don't know much about streaming by yourself, but I do know that there are some basic ingredients required for streaming;
  • You need a computer that is capable of streaming (it needs to be able to render the stream while at the same time playing the game or whatever you want to stream)
  • You need streaming software, such as OBS (free)
  • You need to have a stream channel at a host such as Twitch or YouTube.

Once you have the software and a channel, you can start streaming. You can get a stream key from Twitch (I don't know how YouTube works, but I can imagine you will need a stream key as well). You can then save the stream key in the software so that the software, such as OBS, can broadcast the livestream to the correct channel on Twitch/YouTube.

Google "starting your first livestream" and you will get a list of helpful websites with more information about how to start streaming.

Enjoy and have fun! [happy]

Thank You for this information. Every time I log on to my computer it goes through a streaming test so not sure if I already have it or not. I just purchased a computer that is capable of streaming & I do have U Tube but don't have the OBS software. Will go and check Google for more information. Thank You very much.
