Stuck at 99% Tycoon - how to get that last 1%?

Greetings Commanders,

I've been at 99% tycoon for a while now. Am I bugged, or is there some special thing I have to do?

nothing special to do - just to do things to increase your trade rank.

it is around 6,3 mio in trade profits per 1% at tycoon level.

trade missions and mining missions also count towards it. other missions don't.

Each 1% of Tycoon represents about 15M in trading profits. Keep a note of how much you are making with each run and if you reach 20M without hitting elite then you should probably put in a ticket.

Edit: Seems that the elite trading rank needs 1 billion credits now, not 1.6 billion, so Goemon's figure is closer to the mark than mine. If you hit 8M more profits and don't go up you should put in a ticket.
