Stuck at loading but only in VR?

Posting this here because someone might have come across the issue..

When loading in VR I get Loading... before the orange spinning ship appears. But the ship never appears. I just get stuck at loading forever. Switch to non-VR and the game loads fine. This problem started a few builds ago and I did delete the entire folder and allowed it to re-download. Then comes today's multi-crew build and the problem is still there.

Any solutions?

I am on Vive and had problem once due to driver update.
Can only suggest before entering game, select default low VR settings and make sure drivers up to date.
Getting working on lower setting first before moving back to settings you normally use.
Last few updates have added much that effects VR graphics.

On monitor before you START your loading CMDR, from Main Menu go into Graphic Settings and reselct the 3D option for HMD Headphones. It will now load your mode. This resets to none after all Beta Updates.

I need further clarification. Is this when the game is launched? Or is this within the windows settings? Is it steam settings? Either way, how?
