Stuck behind CGNAT

I'm stuck behind a cgnat network with no other options. There is 0 port forwarding available. 99/100 times if I jump into a system and there is already someone there, I get kicked with orange adder error or similar. Same thing happens if another player jumps into a system I'm in. I get kicked. Is there any way to work around this? Solo is fun and all but I would like to check out some multiplayer action too.

In your case the only solution would be a paid VPN that offers you a dedicated* IPv4 address or renting a root server or VPS and configuring it to work as such a VPN. There is no other way around it if your ISP does not offer granting you a dedicated* static or dynamic IPv4 address (paid or free).

*) dedicated also known as public

Imho FDEV should better implement more TURN relays. They can't offload the responsibility entirely to the player.

Steam, for example, uses their own CDN as a TURN relay for peer to peer games that use the Steam Networking API by default to hide your IP from other players (can be disabled).

The technical and political problem of CGNATs will only get worse over time. There are 7 billion humans on earth, but only 4.2 billion possible IPv4 addresses.

IPv6 would be wonderful if they offered it, much like a public ip for a couple extra bucks would be nice, but not available. Changing ISP's is also out, the other option slower than a pitch drop experiment. Hopefully someday my ISP implements IPV6 or some sort of public ip scheme. Looks like a VPN is the best way to go for now, just hate spending more money just for one game out of the many I play to work right. Thanks for the input all.

If you actually choose to use a VPN in combination with a dedicated IPv4 address (+port forwarding addon if offered separately): Make sure your network settings in-game are set to the correct adapter (the VPN one) while the VPN is active or you won't be able continue playing any mode besides the tutorials.

CGNAT is the bane of peer-to-peer. You will have issues in many games that do not use dedicated servers and do not seriously try to mitigate the issues by providing TURN relays (which work similarly to VPNs but instead forward game data between you and the other player).
