Stuck in orbit with crash loop

Greetings people,
I would like some help here on how to get out of this mess, i'm in orbit of a planet in the HYADES SECTOR AQ-Y D81 system and the game freezes 5 seconds after loading ship, cannot get out, cannot jump out, cannot eject.
I can only force shutdown and ... try again? nope ...
tried without ody, but as now it's the same crappy engine, it crashes the same way.

any help here? please 😭

Try the "Unstuck" option in the main menu. It usually sends you to orbit though, so not sure if it will help.

But you can still try it and see what happens. You need to be in the main menu to do that.

Ok - I got hit by this as well... Same system when trying to visit the barnacle forest. Tried all the things... managed to supercruise to orbit and then dropped from supercruise and it crashed again...

I will try the unstuck button...

There are still issues with some of the Barnacle Forests, it's likely your location in orbit causing the issue and since "unstuck" probably just picks an available random location in orbit it should get you out!

The one time I used that new unstick option was in an SRV - the game relocated me to the system arrival point (in my ship obviously) - surprised me, as I expected to be in orbit (or at least near) the planet I had been on.
