LostWinds Stuck in Summerfalls Ravine with the king

I see that other people have been having a problem getting the king through Summerfalls Ravine, but I seem to have a new twist on the problem: I cannot break the bridge under the fruit to get the king down to the level of the pond. I've read that you can throw the fruit or a glorb at the bridge to break it, but no matter how I try, I can't get it to work. Am I the only one having this issue, and is there any way around it?

You need to vortex the fruit so it is spinning in the air and then gust it to smash the bridge.

I am playing Summerfalls Ravine from long time and never had such issues with the game. Everything is working fine here. This game is too good and children will enjoy playing the same. The game plan is unique.
