Newcomer / Intro Stuck with no money and no ship

So I died in the system where I started.
Now I respawned in a station 69LY away from my starting system with 2k credits left and no ship.
I respawned on this station before but that time I had enough money to get to my starting system with Apex Interstellar.
The Station I am now on again has nothing but Apex Interstellar.
There are 2 systems that I have the money to travel to but I don't know if this helps me.

Can someone please help me and tell me what I should do.

Could also someone explain why I respawn this far away?

Probably had some kind of bounty, which resulted in your CMDR being taken to a detention center.

Select whichever system has more stations/settlements, Apex there, and do some easy surface missions until you have enough credits to buy (or transfer) a ship.
