I'm a bit ed off by the prevalence of tutti-frutti nebulae in sci-fi artwork - sure, they are pretty, but come on!
Hopefully the Elite 4 team will limit themselves to including nebulae only where they actually are or should be present. If I fly to dumbbell nebula, I won't say 'no' to visual marvels of ionised gases, but in most systems, I want my blackness of space back.
All in all, the pics are great.

I personally think this stems from artists not realising that the Hubble pictures are artificially coloured.

I agree, the detail - especially in the foreground - is stunning. Lots of the other pictures are great too, thoughThe very first picture you posted is my favourite.
