Subject D-2 departs on lone mission

The real treasure was the friends Seo Jin-Ae made along the way? šŸ˜‚
Did she make any? I may have heard some goons started chasing after her because they thought that thing in her head was a precious gemstone, and then she landed on a ship full of crazed fanatics worshipping her like an idol.

The joke sounded better in my head.

It's clear where Seo is, but i think, the "journey" isn't over yet.

Seo "refugeing" with the thargoid templars, Aegis stepping in, and Azimut chasing Seo.... These are developments in just 1 week.

Seo's story will continue.

Basically they hope she can translate for them

I mean... I know. But I was making a joke.

And I really don't think the True Chapters care so much for her ability to understand the Thargoids as the symbol that she is for their religion. Judging by her decision to return to Aegis instead of staying on that megaship, I'm gonna go and assume that she's not too interested in that.

Why would they care about understanding if their whole religion is based around dying to the Thargoids?

As long as they dont want a "sacrifice" to prove their worth to the Thargoids as she could be in more danger than she thinks ;)

Now I donā€™t know a lot about the Far God Cult, but if thereā€™s one thing I can say for certain, itā€™s that they wonā€™t ā€˜sacrificeā€™ one of their ā€˜holy emissariesā€™ to the Thargoids.

If you are considered ā€œunworthyā€, you have slightly more reason to be concerned. And if youā€™re a member of the Orderā€¦ well, you know.

My only surprise here is that the True Chapters actually buggered off. I almost thought theyā€™d stay just to shove it in with Hudson. I could totally see the First Apostle doing that.

Doubt weā€™ve seen the last of them, though. If I have to tag up with them when the Thargoids go crazy after the Maelstroms start being attackedā€¦

Rest kinda just confirms what we already knew with some interesting lore details added. Still interesting, but also still just a GalNet with some text to read for now, while another week of the invasion passes.

They are a suicidal cult, but apparently not that suicidal. šŸ˜…

Iā€™m certainly not sure ā€˜Execution by Federal military forcesā€™ is part of their beliefs. Donā€™t quote me on that, though. Not like Iā€™ve got much of an insight on them.

Jokes aside, I almost wanted it to happen just as a final middle finger to the Hudson Administration, but I guess having to tolerate the presence of the megaship for an entire week was enough already.

People chose space H$&#!* over the FGC already, any rivaling CG or 'crime' by the FGC would only allow the players to destroy them even more, or take one more megaship.

I was involved in constructing them. I do not stand the Federal administration calling dibs on 'em.

I see what you did there (in the first paragraph).

And Iā€™d certainly not have stood by to watch Hudson be an idiot about them yet again. But that wonā€™t be a concern now, seeing as theyā€™ve gone back into hiding for now.

We never were told the fate of the Dedicant and its crew, in the end. Iā€™m not too sure I want to think about the possibilities in my mind.
