I've been mining for Tritium out in the black, just to take a break from exploring from time to time. Never really got into mining before, but have become quite proficient, so I don't think what I'm seeing is me...
I fire my displacement missile at a subsurface deposit, hold the trigger, the notice in the HUD says deploying missile (or whatever it says) and usually I then get the moving line, release trigger and either extraction successful or extraction failed. However this last occasion, on about 30% - 40% of the time, maybe a bit less, after getting the deploying message the display just snaps back to the standard target display, no moving line. First time I thought maybe I released the trigger (although that should give you an extraction failed message), but after that first occasion I'm quite sure I've still got the trigger engaged. Whatever, it's a significant waste of displacement missiles.
Anyone else seen this? I suspect there's been an update between the last time I mined and this one, and I've never had this happen before.
