[Suggestion] Beyond - If you do not have access to station facilities, sell LEGAL cargo on the Black Market

This suggestion would make even more sense if commanders considered Hostile to the station were allowed to dock again, and just denied the station servies (but afforded access to the black market).

Except you can already do this at the moment with stolen cargo at a black market, so why not clean cargo at a black market?

Right now we also don't have the new C&P system where you dock anonymously at the station.
I don't get the "But we can do it now" argument at all.

The new C&P system is not going to stop wanted players from docking and selling their stolen goods on the black market at a CG station and join the CG as far as we know.

Because black marketeer is not an actual person but a game feature.

And criminals belong in Anarchy.

In long term FD has hinted heavily black market will be contact similar to other contacts we have in game already. So you can safely assume it is a person, or group of persons.

Actual black market would be whole web of smuggler contacts.

If they wanted in that system, then they will be stopped afaik, as they won't be able to access anything.

I understand now... but they're both a bit niche.

1. Firstly, you will be able to choose the cash/materials-only mission reward and avoid this anyway. However, if you do choose to take multiple passenger missions to a station you're Wanted at and choose the cargo reward option and really don't want to discard the trivially-valued cargo, you could fly elsewhere to sell the cargo in-between dropping the passengers. If you really want that small amount of cash.
So you're suggesting in the above scenario:-
  1. Hand in missions 1 and get cargo (which now prevents you from handing in missions 2).
  2. Fly all the way to some other station (where you don't have a fine/bounty), sell a couple of tons of cargo (eg: for 20000CR).
  3. Fly all the way back to the first station, hand in second missions, and get some cargo.
  4. Fly all the way to some other station (where you don't have a fine/bounty), sell a couple of tons of cargo (eg: for 10000CR).

That's all fine, but are really suggesting some meaningful mechanic/reward is being imployed in the above that means the following isn't more logical and less faffy should you choose to do it?:-
  1. Hand in missions 1 and get cargo (which now prevents you from handing in missions 2.
  2. Sell the legal cargo on the Black Market (eg: for 150000CR).
  3. Hand in second missions, and get some cargo.
  4. Sell a couple of tons of cargo on the Black Market (eg: for 6500CR).

What really is being achieved by forcing CMDRs to jump through those hoops when simply allow legal cargo to also be sold on the Black Market (at a loss) should they wish to? Go on, put your let's be reasonable hat on ;)

And again, the problem logically, or game mechanic reason/reward wise, for not simply allowing a CMDR (who can't access the Commodity Market) to instead sell legal cargo to the Black Market (at a loss) is what? It simply reduces their faff and needless hassles? What's the real problem?

2. If you're stealing cargo to hand in at the CG, presumably for the completion cash bonus, then you have the option to go and change to a clean ship to do the handing-in once you've amassed enough loot.
Yes, yet another cost for pirates, already earning next to nothing compared to all other professions, would then be to pay off any Bounty potentially.

This is not proven. As far as I am concerned, even when wanted you can access the black market. I have not heard or read anything different from an official source, it was not meantioned on the stream that the black market would not be available for wanted commanders.

You are assuming it is the case, but I see no reason why you are assuming it.

If reputation was received for patience and perseverance, you'd be king of the forum now... :)
