Suggestion for improving the game, updates trailblazers.

Dissenting opinion:

Most games have a final boss / big bad (warning: tv tropes).

ED breaks that convention, except.. its main adversary is the scale and opacity of the galaxy the player inhabits.

It's up to the players to discern how things work, and the game doesn't treat them with kid gloves.

You can see it as "bad design", unintentional consequences of focusing almost all development budget on gameplay, or a radical design masterstroke, whatever.

Either way, it's a definite attraction for me. What could be more immersive than not knowing how the universe you live in actually works?
I have to admit that, even though the ideas of the OP make sense, and some additional info might be helpful, what drew me to ED in the first place was the lack of hand holding, and the fact that to me exploration is not just about discovering star systems, but also game mechanics.
I've made a spreadsheet that calculates all those numbers for me, based on what I can/cannot build in my system.
Silly as it might sound, I had fun doing it while hauling at the same time. 🤭

Полностью согласен, нужна прозрачная статистика, игроки должны знать, что и как строить для баланса.

I fully agree, transparent statistics are needed, players should know what and how to build for balance.
