I fondly remember a little cult game back in 2005 by Lionhead Studios which I believe would make an awesome entry in the Planet series.
The movies.
It was a game where you ran a movies studio throughout the ages and where beside the management of your staff (and there addictions, fans and paparazzi) and studio financials, you could actually write scripts, direct and edit your movies.
I would love to play a game like this again in the modern times as there is really nothing like it out there.
And I think with the current tech employed in the other Planet games, it can also be greatly expanded upon. For example, include shooting in the field/locations.
Each DLC can add additional sets, locations, technologies, themes and costumes.
