Suggestion: Ship Light Brightness settings?

I actually really liked the "old" new cockpit darkness Odyssey brought on, as it made space feel even more like.. space. It also made starports stand out more.
And sure I had to set my gamma up a notch to see things, but that was only necessary because I set it intentionally TOO low before!

Now for the main potatoes of this post:
Maybe ADD a ship cockpit light brightness adjustment setting somewhere?

In doing so, if it's technically possible ofc, you would accomodate everyone's light level needs in a way that's not possible with just a static adjustment.
We could also choose to dim or brighten the lights to accomodate our moods? Maybe put the slider right next to the cockpit HUD brightness slider?

Calmer collision lights near planets.

I have to disable the string lights in Horizons, their pulsing is just too annoying.

Technically possible, but i doubt the current state of the graphics engine would allow it without screwing up elsewhere.
