Suit and weapon upgrade item locations?

Does anyone on here know of a single location (or two; but no more than two) where ALL of the recipe items drop? I don't mean like "tell me what kind of system" I mean the systems specific name and the specific location in the system where I can go to farm all of the items necessary to upgrade all of my weapons and suits to level 5. Of course I know it will take multiple relogs and such to farm the locations but does anyone know where these are; and if you do please post the system and the specific location where this can be found on what planet.

For chemicals and assets, I farm them at abandoned large extraction settlements. It takes a bit of inara searching, but look for reactivation missions which send you to the type of settlement I mentioned earlier. Then you can keep reactivating the base, loot everything, take back the power regulator and supercruise out & in to refresh the settlement.

For circuits, it's easier to do larceny or crashed satellite missions where you can farm an abundance of high value circuitry like optical fibre & microelectrode to trade down for whatever you need.

I know this isn't exactly the answer you are expecting, but that's how it goes.

I've visited quite a lot of different systems, both bubble and Colonia, and don't believe a single system has all of the mats (particularly data - the rest is pretty common) to G5 everything - which may be why much of my stuff isn't G5?

Easy stuff like power regulators can be stolen, just pick up restore type missions and abandon them...

Good luck with your quest, OP, for me, just doing stuff I want to do will get me there, eventually, I'm sure.

Equally, I suspect with the exception of a couple of data materials which aren't technically required to get access to a full G5 blueprint set (Smear Campaigns, Settlement Defense Plans) any large system with a full mix of settlement types would technically be an answer to the question, especially noting that almost everything useful can be picked up as a mission reward.

If you were planning to get the materials with maximum grind and minimum fun, you could probably do so without leaving the Tir system, for example.

If you are looking for an Odyssey equivalent of Dav's Hope or Jameson's crash site then I'm sorry to say that such a place either doesn't exist or nobody has found it yet.

The third option is that someone has found such a place but hasn't shared its location...in which case good for them.

The thread link posted above (by Codger) provides some great advice but it will take time, some research and a bit of luck to get the mats you need.

I will also say that G3 suits and weapons (modified or not) are more than enough to complete pretty much any Odyssey task so the hunt for materials is not actually needed. That hasn't stopped me me from trying to find the mats I want to upgrade and modify my gear, but I'm not 'grinding' for anything. I enjoy the on foot missions and content so I'm just playing the game with a bit of focus on targeting the right missions, POIs and settlements.

The only real stumbling blocks are the engineer unlock materials which seem to be as rare as rocking horse s***...but I'm getting there slowly.

Arai's Mine in Iah Bulu is a very popular place to farm on-foot materials.
The settlement is an Anarchy, with an optimal layout to grind rare assets (not all types, but many).
Also it attracts all sort of Cmdrs and PvP.

What many CMDRs forget about, or simply do not care, is that Arai's Mine belongs to a player faction, who suffer adverse consequences as a result of the constant attacks by CMDRs looking for easy materials. By all means loot the place, but how about gaining INF for the owing faction to help off set the damaged caused? And you can gather materials doing those missions.

Alternatively, loot sites that are abandoned.

Well, this Faction is not native from Iah Bulu. Arai's has been famous for a while now, so they're probably here because they want PvP. Otherwise they would have left long time ago.

To me, it's maybe better that everybody focuses on one single Anarchy, instead of destroying the many other ones around. I dunno

Hit an anarchy enough times and a conflict is likely to generate, making their settlements conflict zones. No one gets to loot the place then.

Mmm, in many months, I've never heard about or seen any conflict in Arai's. I'm not sure how it works tho, but again, the place is famous for a reason.

I was there in the first 3-6 months of Odyssey, and it was a CZ. Of course I could just be old and senile, I am getting on a bit!
