Suit engineering questions

Just wondering a few things about suit engineering and if anyone has any confirmation about the following topics.

1: Is it known if the "damage resistance" modification increases damage resistance against the new Revenant thargoid scavengers?

2: Do all four suits have the same melee damage value?

3: Does melee damage dealt increase as the suit grade increases?

1 : Not sure about that. I had not used suits with dmg resistance against revenatns, they die to my aphelion before they could do anything. They seems doing thermal dmg.

2 & 3: melee dmg is fixed in all grades and across all suits. Only way to increase dmg is to install melee dmg mod that increases dmg dealt by 150%... even then it takes about 3 punches to kill something weakest like unshielded civilians. Guards on other hand, will always manage to put thier shields up before they die, so its preety usless to try punch them.. Its one of worst mods to waste slot into.
 
1. The resistance increase to suits is minimal for all except kinetic, so I doubt it makes much difference if it does (thermal goes from 75% to 77% on the g5 mav)

I have tested this anyway and it doesn't look like it's doing much, if it's doing anything. It's difficult to test because Revs are randomly bad shots but I had one shoot at me in a G5 mav with and without and my suit health fell faster with but that's probably because it just hit me more.

I think just having a G5 mav is enough anyway (a G1 is all you actually need) and you should carry a G3 or better L6 as this one shots revs (nothing else does, without a critical hit) and revs cannot hear anything. The L6 needn't have any mods but I run with mag size, faster handling (quicker ADS is useful), reload speed and scope (as it helps take them out from slightly greater ranges).
