Sumatran Tiger

I know this particular animal is bound to get mixed feedback. Don’t get me wrong I don’t want this animal over something we really need or as a top priority selection either. I couldn’t help but to think as I made a somewhat tropical habitat for the Bengal Tiger what a weird choice this subspecies was for a zoo game. I know zt2 used one as well then the community eventually made other subspecies but they aren’t really common in zoos. I love the Bengal don’t get me wrong but towards the end of development I’d love to have a option for the Sumatran subspecies as well.

They are beautiful. They would also be good for Players that like it extremely realistic (there isn't a single EAZA Zoo that keeps Bengal Tigers), so these Players could still have a tropical Tiger Subspecies in their European Zoos. It would be awesome if there would be a Way to get more Subspecies but without them needing to work less on more unique Animals

I agree that the Sumatran is the more obvious choice over the Bengal. On top of being more common in zoos, and more endangered in the wild, it's actually one of the only two tiger subspecies. The Bengal and Siberian are considered to be sub-populations of the same subspecies now. Their habitats are different enough to warrant their separate inclusion IMO (a bit like how I'd be happy with an Asiatic lion separate from other lions), but the Sumatran would have filled the tropical biome niche for the tiger and actually would be a separate subspecies, plus it has a slightly different morphology to boot (being smaller and leaner).

Hopefully one day they'll add it, once they covered all their other bases. If I had the technical skills on par with Frontier's developers I'd even offer to create these kinds of 'clone' animals myself for free just to diversify the list a little.

i agree with this pick because theres 400 Sumatran tigers are estimated to remain in the wild. . Sad. theyre status is critically Endangered. and they are the smallest sub species of tigers.
