Newcomer / Intro Supercruise overspeed

According to Einstein, faster than light travel is impossible, unless you have an infinite energy source. If that's the case, should not the energy in our ships never diminish?
Yes...and no.

You cannot travel faster then light no as in your speed moving faster then light.
However Frameshift drives do not make you do that, they bend space time and to make you simply move from a to b quicker then light, you don't actually reach light speed, but you get from a to b faster then light...its complicated.
 
I tend to come up on a station at 0.04 or 0.05s and deviate towards the planet to slow down before swinging back towards the station. When I time it right it works well. Does anyone else do this?

That is the way I have discovered works best for me although I have never found overshoot to be a big deal.
