Not originally my idea, but I really liked it.
Like title says, you could equip a module to make your ship appear to be something else on scanners in supercruise. It could dissuade or confuse pirates, gankers, and system authorities.
Would be a nice addition for smuggling goods and be illegal in certain systems.
