That is worrying TJ.
It would be awful indeed if our future was wiped out before it had even began.

Mind you if the planet was doomed, perhaps it would provide a stimulus to the world's governments to stop thinking of themselves and instead to co-operate with one another and develop new technologies to get us all off to the stars?

Perhaps Elite IV will need to update its galactic map to take account of these new discoveries?

Current estimation is apparently that the supernove will happen in roughly 10 million years.
