There's no hotspot for those minerals. If you want to increase your yield, only way is to mine in a RES.

I never use RES sites, mainly because I don't do combat and I don't want to be fighting off pirates all the time! However, other things can all add up to reasonable yields. Make sure you have an A-rated Prospector which will result in bigger yields from each asteroid. A-rated Collectors are the most efficient in making sure the limpets don't take the scenic route back to your ship and have longer lives! Look for pristine Metallic or Metal Rich rings for the materials needed in this CG - all but Coltan can be found in metallic. Nearest pristine rings can be found by looking here: https://edtools.cc/?s=LTT%20198&md=200. I've been mining in LFT 65 4 which had good results, but there is also a metal rich ring in that system which was also good and had all four materials. There was one hotspot in the metallic ring which I used just for guidance as a direction to go in.

Cutter/T9 cargo transport use mean only having to do 3 delivery runs to station instead of 6 with smaller ships...
10% Bonus tier pay will more than double the money from the CG mining...

It just clicked with me today that a tonne of praesydium (sp?) counted as much as a tonne of silver, and was easier to collect. It's too late to catch up in the other CG, though, so I guess I'll just be making sure I don't get caught out with this one.
Almost impossible to get to one of the megaships in open. The system is filled with gankers. Even if it's fun to fool them a bit, you can get non progress to the CG.
To complete the CG event, manually, means landing on the Mega ship That MOVED to EGM 599...
If you were not parked on the mega ship, you will have to jump into this system…

if one gets prompted to chose cookie settings and dont allow all cookies (it's very tempting to chose "only necessary") these sort of things happens as in not seeing links to YT videos or to external image hosting services, etc
