Are they gone now? Used to fly around looking for blue circles at 5K above a planets surface. Seem to be gone. Mechanic changed? It's been awhile since I've played.

Do I need to do that for the "Random" POIs, too? I knew you needed to that for the "Permanent" ones.
Yes, but only once. Once mapped, new POIs will show when you're in range of the body.
I'm still confused. I know about the POIs that are labelled on the Nav screen (Crash site, etc), but what about those Random little "blue circle" POIs that really do randomly pop-up when skimming a planet? You land close, then use the SRV scanner to home-in to the location. They disappear after you leave. Had a few buildings or a crashed Beacon. Didn't have a name or anything. Are those gone now? I fully scanned a planet, and nothing ever shows on the ship radar.

Ah, so the old blue circles are gone now. Pity. I kinda liked just flying around looking for them.
