Survey Mega ships found with Alien Structures!

Greetings, Commanders!


My team of Imperial scientists had suddenly discovered 2 megaships known as "Pandora" and "Victoria's Song" pinpointing to 2 alien structures. They are identical, unfortunately. However, the Pandora logs mention of unknown threats attacking the vessel. Most of the info is located on reddit, due to being more accessible when discovering on-the-run. ;)

How do you find those ships and alien structures. Just searching system after system and planet after planet for them or are there hints on GalNet ? (i am not very active with ED atm)

We found them by flying around in Super Cruise around allegiance systems. Victoria's Song was found in an Alliance system "Pleiades Sector IH-V C2-5". Nothing appeared for a few minutes, until when we got closer to one of the nearby planets which revealed a Listening Post. When I realized that PRE has been getting involved a lot with the conspiracies, I searched high and low along the PRE systems going from Maia to the edge of the bubble. We found the listening post for Pandora at 42 N Persei. :D

By the way, Victoria's Song is in the 3rd planet of HIP 17125 (not the 5th).

Pleiades Sector IH-V c2-5 was founded by Federation minor faction: Pleiades Resource Enterprise
But somehow Alliance faction Cooper Research is in power there. Not that i would know anything about that. shifty eyes

I remember at the time that a number of Alliance CMDRs were a bit snippy that Frontier hadn't noticed that we'd flipped the system.
So the CG was delivering stuff to an Alliance ruled system for a Federation minor faction.

I haven't gone through the content yet, but this discovery seems to be an "arrest" by system authority of a Survey Vessel: Victoria's Song
Not really sure if the arrest is supposed be BY the Federation and Frontier haven't noticed that the System Authority is Alliance now, and they're steamrolling on with the story.

Or if this is some sort of a dig at a character named Victoria:

I actually just stumbled on this from The Pleione Herald item in the Stargazer asteroid base there.
Not really any clues in there to follow, so happy for this post.
