Horizons SVR Exceed maximum mass

Hello, I would like to add a planetary hangar module(2H) to my Viper MKIII but when i select it I see in red the message Module will exceed maximum mass, is there an other module that will work for my viper?

It might be a Shields problem, actually. Every rating of shields has a maximum ship mass it can shield. If you exceed that limit, it no longer works and you have to buy bigger shield (bigger class or higher rating)

Or you can try and find a 2G hangar, somewhere. It's lighter than "H" but eats more energy.

Yeah its usually shields or thrusters that causes this. Play around on edshipyard or coriolis to make sure what you build works

Thanks both of you I will try that I think I bought what I could put on without thinking that it would block me after , I see the problem on my eagle when I try to deploy my weapons, everything goes offline because I don't have enough power xD.

I don't know if you know that, but you can assign priorities to modules. It's crucial in ships like Eagle or Vulture, that are underpowered. For example you don't need your cargo hatch, frameshift drive and hangar while fighting, so if you go to module overview in the right panel and set them on priority 2, then they will shut down first upon deploying the hardpoints and the rest of your ship will remain operational
