Best duck.Duck. Mandarin Duck to be exact.
Never actually thought the grey heron would be a zoo animal, I'll support them for solely being one of my favourite local birds.Hot take : I would prefer the grey heron to any duck or swan. I've seen at least one grey heron in every zoo I've been to. I once read those guys usually hang out near seals and penguins exhibits to steal some fish and I think it's hilarious. Also, it's a beautiful bird that I really like.
While certanly fun and a nice addition id rather see a swan, duck and geese firsr cause they can both be the local invader who made their home in a random pond of the zoo or be there intentionally, while every single heron in zoos ive seen just was a local guest, which is cute but makes them lower priority for meHot take : I would prefer the grey heron to any duck or swan. Only if you're expecting them to be in the Walkthrough Exhibit.I can also see Frontier releasing multiple ducks in a pack like the butterflies, many (not all, especially if you look at dabbling vs diving ducks) will act and look fairly similar
I’ll take whatever I can get at this pointOnly if you're expecting them to be in the Walkthrough Exhibit.
No, they are not really a zoo animal. All the ones I've seen were local wild birds who had made the zoo their home. Actually happens a lot with white storks too, at least in Belgium.Never actually thought the grey heron would be a zoo animal, I'll support them for solely being one of my favourite local birds.
