Is there any trick to destroying a swarm? I've seen many videos of people easily destroying a swarm, even with a single gun.
I myself hang even 3 and randomly I can uni whether the swarm is alive or not.
I easily mine and blow up asteroids but I can't do anything with a swarm.
Prtchem always says that the weapon is outside.

The Flak Cannon,you have to get accustomed at how it works (it shots in a straight line,keep the trigger pulled unitl you see the aim reticle flicker,then release for the explosion) but it's very effective.When you fly away from the Interceptor (best in reverse, pointing your nose at the target)

Yes, it seems to be doing so, and many videos of people like that easily kill them, while I do not work and can not understand why :(

Practice. A lot.

Also, one of the more common mistakes is to wait for the beep and react to it. If you do that, the flak is going to pass the swarm during your reaction time. You need to anticipate the beep and time your release to it.

Hmm. I.e. the button should not be released when the signal sounds and the red paddles light up but before? That sounds like a bug.

Thank you. But because of the translation I don't quite understand what : reticle flicker
P.S. I have no problem knocking out minerals from the asteroid even when there is only 1 blue bar running to the left.

Flak Cannon,as all the other weapons, has a proprietary aiming reticle you will easily notice it when you fire the weapon,when the Flak cloud will be in range with the Swarm it will flicker,becomes red, that's the time to release the trigger.As always if the Swarm is not coming directly at you in front but is on a side course aim for its "probable" position or your shot will be off course.

The other relevant thing apart from timing instead of reacting is aim. There are actually not so many instances where you want to actually aim at the leading reticule since the swarm changes direction pretty often. You need to anticipate this and aim accordingly. This many times aiming somewhere like half-way between the reticule and the swarm itself, but depends on the phase of the swarm motion.
