Dear devs, you've always been great at listening to users' proposal, but I think you're not collecting it the best way.
Forum is great for general discussions, but not for proposals. You're already using a good issue tracker and I believe it would be better if proposals would follow a similar approach, with duplicate detection and emphatized consensus.
I can see a couple reasons you may not want to use the issue tracker for proposals as well (task management integrations, assignments, and so on), so I set up a basic proposal management system using a free platform (which I'm no way associated to, I just use it in my job) for you to have an alternative to consider.
