Newcomer / Intro Symbols on Left Hand Navigation menu

In the left-hand menu, under Navigation, ther eare lots of symbols, like 'no parking' signs, little blue spaceships (which I know mean thatthe planet is landable) and other things. In particular, next to surface settlements there are little 'shields' which are either full black, full orange, or 50/50 orange/black. Also there are little '+' (plus) signs next to them.

Also what look like pairs of crossed cutlasses and stuff like that, which I presume are places you can go to get attacked.

So is there a central database where these symbols are explained? It would make it a whole lot better explained if so :D

I'm not sure if someone has collated a list of all of the symbols, but the game tells you what most of them are.

If you select one of the things, it will open a window that gives you more information about your target, including what any of the icons in the left hand column mean.

The + icons are the size of the base/settlement I believe and the Shield is level of security, empty is Low, half full is Medium, full is High.
