Hey, I’ve just recently bought JWE2 on Steam and have played through the first three story locations. I decided I wanted to try and complete the Challenge mode so started on Canada. One of the first objectives is to “release a dinosaur” but unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to do this. Despite having a full team of scientists and all the currently available facilities at hand, when I press “assign scientist” to start the synthesis, nothing happens. I have quit the game and restarted, even deleted and reinstalled but the glitch or what I would presume is a glitch has persisted. Note that this is also the case in Sandbox mode. It’s also worth pointing out that I am playing on a Steam Deck although have had no other issues other than this. If anybody could help me understand or fix this it would be eternally appreciated.

Exact same problem here. Purchased yesterday. Playing on SD. Different level though, Chaos Theory Jurassic Park. The game is meant to tell you that it failed (to synthesise) and you need to research further. However this doesn't happen; you're just stuck without being able to progress further. First level too, that's so bad it's funny.
