System Architect Payments - decreasing each week?

My payment architect payments seem to be getting smaller and smaller each week?

Has FDev also kept this weird gimmick shrouded in secrecy? Will they diminish all the way to 0 credits in like 12 months time?

Will I then have to PAY credits to keep my crumbling infrastructure going?

Or is this something more pants like the pool of money that goes out is tied to however many structures are built, or so the more systems people take over the less their space assets are worth hahaha

Who knows!? I dare not even think as to why this may be.

Mmmh, seems like architect payments are based on "wealth" of system assets, and ignores whether system is sustainable, produces things or makes sense as a colonization effort. I think a highly developed system should be able to support a fleet carrier or a few, while a lone colony, science station or a weird tourist place wouldn't generate that much credits.

Payment is roughly score * 10,000 * happiness modifier (pro-rated in the system's first week depending on when colonisation completed)

Score seems to be based on what's constructed there so it shouldn't be possible for it to go backwards.
Happiness could increase or decrease between weeks (it seems to be based on BGS states) though so far I don't think anyone's seen a modifier outside the +/-10% range.

There is also a thing where (like FC upkeep in reverse) it can occasionally skip a payment, then you'll get the skipped payment added to the next successful one. So if that happened, your payment pattern is "1, 0, 2, 1" and if you missed the '0' because you didn't notice you hadn't got a message, the 2->1 jump is very noticeable.

Looks that way.

The system I have been constructing has varied by up to 500 credits each week, as nothing has changed, my guess is that the happiness rating is fractions above zero each week, the higher fraction giving me more, and vice versa. No 2 weeks have been the same amount, but it is so little it isn't worth worrying about!

My payment is 700,000+ for a partially developed system. I have no idea what my Happiness Score is as it always says: 0.00. Where are you others finding that information?

p.s. I'm super happy and I want paid for it !
