Just leaving Colonia heading to Sag A* and an F type star showed as "First discovered by" and then the inifinity sign?

I acnt even find an inifginity on the keyboard, let alone as an emoji?

Is this a valid CMDR name, or something else??

I think it means multiple people discovered it together and it hasn't resolved yet?

It may be possible to have a commander name containing special characters. I would not be surprised. Any special character can be copied and pasted even if you don't have a key on your keyboard.

It may also be something FD is doing to fix the bug that causes tags to not show up when the server is lagging.
If that were the case, you should see the correct name after a few seconds or after closing and re-opening the system map.

I've found a system discovered by someone named "" (smiley emoticon, colon and parenthesis). I suspect additional special characters might have been pasted in for CMDRs names by other players, since the game was apparently permitting punctuation-only names as well.
