System map lies about Frontline Solutions?! And no way at all to tell if Inter Astra are present on a station...?

Have been trying some on-foot CZs to get the hang of combat.
Have made my peace with the fact that Inara doesn't list the presence or otherwise of Frontline Solutions, and ended up just flying my ship there to save the hassle.

But then I had the "brainwave" of using the system map to check such things (a rare thing, as the info in it is normally vastly more accessible with 3rd-party tools).
To my surprise it's saying that the outpost I'm currently at (Onizuka Landing @ Frigaha) does have FS present. Some people have posted on this forum to say that outposts never have it, and I certainly can't find it (or see it mentioned on any of the signage in the station).

In fact, the thing I was really looking for just now when I brought up the system map was Inter Astra. (For fun, I took an Apex from the surface CZ back to Onizuka and planned to fetch my ship once there.) No sign of any Inter Astra on the station (doh) but even when I view a station (a nearby Orbis) that I know to have an IA, there's no sign of it in the system map info.

Tempted to conclude that the bogus FS on this outpost's system map info is a bug and the totally missing info on IA (apparently on any station's info) is a missing feature - are these known issues? (Google didn't provide any hits at all when I tried to find prior discussion.)

Onizuka is an Outpost, isn't it simply that there are no Inter Astra at Outposts?

True it doesn't say it in the system map, but you know (now at least) because it's an Outpost.

Yes, this has unfortunately been noted in the past by other players as well.
I shall take a look at the issue tracker. (Feels like it ought to be a simple bug to fix...)

Yup. I had seen suggestions by other players that FS aren't at Outposts, and now I also seem to have learned that IA aren't there either. However, it's the broken system map (FS = wrong, IA = not mentioned) that is jarring.

Surely the Inter-Astra is tied to the Shipyard?
Plausible! Is it written down anywhere though? I have learned to distrust the Wiki (plain wrong on lots of stuff).

Edit: the EDO experience is feeling oddly familiar - rather like learning to play Elite the first time around, and discovering that all kinds of things are either broken or not as expected

Well, If the Orbital Station has a Shipyard, it will have InterAstra.
Since outposts cannot have shipyards, they'll never have InterAstra

Also, Outposts dont have the vast interior spaces required to accommodate other premium services like Frontline Solutions* or Vista Genomics. These are found in Starports.

It's quite simple

*(however, Frontline Solutions desk is quite redundant - one can simply land at a Ground CZ, sign in and take part - then they can cash the bonds using the regular Contacts panel from Stations and Outposts)

It's the only place in the game you can look up ground CZ intensity without actually travelling to one.

Still irrelevant to the redundancy of the Frontline Solution Desk (which is mandatory only for the people that refuse to use their own ships in Odyssey)
But perfectly relevant to the fact the SysMap is lacking valuable information

Current implementation, probably. However, as I suggested in the past, it would be slightly less redundant if you could also look up CZs in nearby systems and participate there (same range as Apex).

The APEX desk is long enough to have Frontline Solution. They would only need to add the according NPC and its done. I dont think FS was not implemented because there was a lack of space...

It is... sort of.
The presence of a usable Inter-Astra office is tied to a shipyard. But otherwise the office can still be present but unmanned. This, combined with the above mentioned bug about NPCs sometimes not spawning at stations (usually associated with docking using FA off) makes people think it's just the game being buggy when nobody is present.

IMO there should be a usable Inter-Astra office at every disembarkable location to at least allow switching to a ship you have stored at the current location, because being unable to use a docked ship just because you arrived via an apex is a large oversight.

Isn't it the case though that if you land at the Settlement and take part and you get severely wounded, you end up getting a drop ship back into the CZ? Where does this dropship come from, if there's no Frontier Solutions?
