Any chance of seeing a T-7 MK II?

When I began my initial account the T-7 was my workhorse and got me the cash to start my 16 month (and counting) exploration trip.

The T-7 was always weak (the cheap man's Python), but now with Engineers active it is a Pinyata. The T-7, with a Class 4 PP and four Class 1 hard points equipped, you could only mount Class 4 shields even though you had Class 5 & 6 bays available. Not enough power for shield boosters of consequence either.

I'd like to see a T-7 with Class 5 or even 6 PP and at least two Class 2 HP. Would certainly make it more survivable if you could mount Class 5 or 6 level shields.

Maybe make that an Engineer thing. Class 5 shields in a Class 4 sized package.

Clipper is what you're looking for. Can hold as much cargo as a T7, but better equipped. And fast as heck, so you can just boost and wake.

Yeahh T-7 is not excelent, I sold mine a few days ago cause I would get overkilled too much, I reverted to Asp Explorer, good enough for cargo missions and fast enough to escape enemies or kill them

Getting Baron rank is not trivial. I could have bought three clippers from the money I made trying to get that rank.

Point is a T-7 is more accessible.

I second this - and a T9 combat version as well.

T7 is 100% useless right now except for mining.

Ranking is absurd and not fun in any way. Its a grind x 3 different factions. I'd have gone clipper right away too.

Got my first T7 last night...
I kinda love it. It's my first cargo truck and I was suprised by the handling. Not amazed, just suprised.
I'm using it for mining but, yesterday on her maiden voyage, I got interdicted and she wasn't going to last long, but thanks to the Fuzz, she's still alive.
The cockpit view is so good, I'm seriously considering modding her up for an exploration trip.
I won't let her look in any mirrors though.
Not exactly a saturday night ship, is it?
