Your Feature Request / Idea
Despite the gravity of the name, i think the changes that need to be made are fairly small though they may require some animation fixes with the rigs if the model changes warrant it.
So to get down to it, while the Rex is wonderful and all, it does follow the Jurassic World look more than the Jurassic Park one, where she was the true star of the show and simply terrifying, an apex predator that was truly worth her screentime.
The image bellow shows the difference between the two designs and honestly, i think even just changing the textures, particularly to give her those darker, sunken looking eyes will improve this creature ten times over, even if the model changes arent implemented.
I also submit the link to the reddit thread this comes from to see some of the description of how this look was achieved:

Naturally i cannot blame Frontier for this, this is on JW reworking the rex into a much softer and less threatening looking animal, the same way they did with the raptors, and instead replacing them with silly looking movie monster CGI hybrid abominations in the role of the villains. I just think that even the small eye shadow change to the texture and perhaps the very feint stripes will help distinguish this truly mighty star among all others. This is her franchise above all others after all.
