I do most of my exploring with a DBX, so I'm used to it. I take a moment to scan the system. How do you find living with what is a very small fuel scoop for the fuel tanks size and fuel consumption per jump?
I'd imagine a lot of time spent hanging by a star scooping.
The Beluga has a gigantic tank which gives it 10 max-range jumps in a row. Sure, it takes a solid two minutes to fill up, but when you can chain nearly a dozen neutrons together in a row you can still cover a lot of ground between refills. If you're just regular exploring and taking time to scan while you scoop, the small scoop isn't really all that noticeable. It's not like the pre-FSS days when you couldn't really do anything else while you were scooping.
