Proposal Discussion TeamSpeak for Elite Dangerous

Friendly Team Speak channel, was able to get situated quite quickly with controls and layouts thanks to everyone's help. Was fun flying in formation!

I'd recommend joining one of the TS servers, it's a grt way to learn about the game, controls, loadout for ships etc and also tips for making cash a bit more quickly.

Thanks mate, yes was nice talking to you too, if we all support everyones servers then it can only get better over time

Hey dude thanks for having the info in ur sig, hehe a little typo its karpcode.servehttp.com

Thanks for setting this up on team speak. If it was not for the help I got on there I would still not be playing!
If anyone else is having problems or just wants to chat with fellows players im sure you will be welcomed.

GamersCove Voice 3 teamspeak is now back online we had a major power cut and a five mile radius was with out power for 4 hours .

Hi GamersCove Voice 3 teamspeak is shutting down late Sunday for a few hours for system and driver updates .
I was talking with Amos at the Server Elite teamspeak address in my sig you are welcome to use his if you can not connect to GamersCove Voice .

I'll be a visitor over the weekend for a few days on Amos' server in order to provide the usual commentary and tech support for all those things such as TrackIR that I am involved in..

Be sure to stop by and bookmark each server you visit to make it easier to join in the future.

Teamspeak is now live all players of Elite Dangerous are welcome and their is no need to join the forum that my very good friend runs and owns . But if you want to you can . If the teamspeak gets a lot of people using it at the same time do not worry max online can be set up to 1000 , we will also be able to create more hangout channels or group channels . So any one logging in please say hello and follow the normal rules for teamspeak thank you .;)

Please it would also be help full if you reply to this post if you use the teamspeak that way it will be easy for the next person to find the information they need .:)

I was wondering when this thread would get bumped.
Hyperion still desperate for members ?

Certainly not desperate lol.
I apologise if this is seen as spamming.
We are a nice group and wanted new players to have access to other like minded players so all can enjoy.

As it seems we are 'begging' for members I will no longer bump this thread.

Sorry once again if our offering communication to players is taken the wrong way.

we come in peace

Like Mister Spock said, I apologise if this is seen as spamming.

But we Hyperion are friendly and come in peace, we like to make new friends and have fun on TS as well as having a few facebook pages and a Forum. We are a good bunch and guys and girls, from all over the world, our main members are from Europe and age between 17-75.

If you want to talk or just listen and be apart of a great community please come and see us on TS: 85.236.100.188:14607 no password required.. we are normally on and off TS all day but our main time is from 7:30pm uk time until late night.

Please bring beer and pizza.. Tea and cookies are offered all day. :D

New to Team Speak

Thanks for the invite to begin using this program. I have heard about it but failed to see why I would want to talk to anyone in World of Tanks. I logged in when I got TS installed and no one was there so I will have to learn how to use it later. I'm in the Central time zone in the US so finding out when a good time to talk with others will be part of the fun.

Thanks again.

Sorry no one online at the moment.
In the summer daytime play is at it's lowest. We do have a few North American players on at various times but mostly from 7-8pm GMT is when more of us are on.

That's appreciated. I think that most here would support players offering a friendly & genuine service, & (personally) I'm fine with it if it's a vehicle for recruitment to a guild/whatever so long as that isn't some kind of expectation & it doesn't become another self-inflicted PR disaster like the one the OP is now familiar with.

For the benefit of newcomers: Early in the Alpha phase, an open TS server was offered & it all sounded rather "nicey nice" but was really just a recruiting platform for a certain in-game organization. When it failed to swell their numbers sufficiently, & in a spectacularly ill conceived venture, they tried to bully/grief/gank everyone into joining them by blockading a space station, which effectively kept many players out of the game over a weekend. Needless to say this was the proverbial "lead balloon" which has made those responsible probably the most despised players in the game & resulted in them (as Vingtetun so eloquently put it) as having "a target painted on their afterburners".
I'm not inclined to PvP, but if I ever see any of those people in game I'll have no hesitation in turning up the heat on them. :D

You seem quite a nice person .. but sadly you have your work cut out as, like Faerie alluded to, the people representing you on the forum prior to your arrival did a bad job of it.

Good luck :)
